July:
Pichtia
"Pichtia", cultural and artistic activities held each year in the last weekend of July. Organized by the Municipality of Metsovo in pursuance of the will of Pichtos, a famous Metsovite artist, known for his love for nature. The manifestations include the so-called "Pichtios Walking Tour", the participants of which spend the night at the location "Lakos" on Mt. Mavrovouni at an altitude of 2000m. with dances, songs and large fires. On Sunday morning they go for a three-hour walk up to the location "Aytia Flegga" in order to admire the beautiful sunset at the National Gorge of Vaglia Calda.

Religious holiday celebrated with a festival near the church of Prophet Ilias at an altitude of 1400m.; residents and visitors of Metsovo join in with songs and dances.

«Aniliotika»
Manifestations are held at the municipal district of Anilio on the occasion of the celebrating church of Ag. Paraskevi. The manifestations consist of night feasts with folklore or popular music groups as well as a performance of the local dancing group. On July 25, the "Cattle breeders’ night" consists of the presentation and the awarding of the best animals of the village.

Paraskevi the Holy Martyr
Religious holiday. After carrying about the icon in procession, the women dressed up in the traditional Metsovite costumes open the dancing in the church yard, singing songs in the Vlach dialect. The dance association makes a representation of a Metsovite wedding.

3-day celebrations at the municipal district of Anthochori on the occasion of the celebrating church of Agia Paraskevi. Traditional music and folklore dancing.

A manifestation is held at the municipal district of Votonosi that includes the carrying about of the icon and a feast with folklore dances at the church yard.

Religious holiday, mass held at the Monastery of Panaghia. Traditional festivities at the town square with the participation of dancing groups from Greece and abroad.

Celebration for the liberation of Metsovo
A Te Deum Mass and a memorial service are held at the church of Ag. Paraskevi. Short memorial service and lying of wreaths at the "Memorial of Cretan Volunteers" at the hill of Prophet Ilias. In the evening traditional dances at the town square.
